Photoshop and Layers Sunday 10:30 - 5:30pm
Alchemy…the practice of turning base into precious metals – or transforming the simple into the complex! Come join me in a class featuring Adobe Photoshop and all the fun you can have with layers. We will be learning how create your digital collage or montage using layers. In this class we will learn how to work with adjustment layers, how to use channels and we will create brushes from pictures, using both photographs or scanned in images. Working with palette tools we will learn more about the type tool and how to do some interesting and fun things with type. I will provide a CD of pictures and images for the class and also a CD of my personal brushes for you to use in your work. In this class we will begin by all working on one picture to learn the techniques and then you will be off to venture into the digital world and play on your own!
Student Supplies:
Laptop computer: Mac or PC, I use a Mac Adobe Photoshop: CS,CS2 or CS3
