Art Is...Giving

Our 2011 Philanthropic efforts - The Art Is...You family have always made a point of recognizing and supporting charities and groups who touch our hearts.  Every year we hold events with all proceeds being donated to our charity of choice.  As well as giving in cash, we give in kind and have used our creative talents to bring joy to others.

In 2011 we will be supporting two fabulous groups who are doing their bit to make this world a better place.

In Petaluma: The Fabulous Petaluma Women was started in 2006 with the intention to gather fun women together and help causes that touched their hearts. What started off with just a few girlfriends has grown into a dynamic female force that has made a positive impact on their community.  In 2011, Art Is...Petaluma will encourage donations at the door of their Art Trunk and will host a fabulous art raffle with all proceeds going directly to The Fabulous Petaluma Women.  Read more...

In Danbury: Sarah's House will be a welcoming, friendly, comfortable and cosy home away from home built on the grounds of the current Cancer Treatment Center in Brewer, Maine.   A home where families and patients undergoing treatment, can come to for healing, connecting, love and support.  Initial plans reflect a home consisting of private one and two bedroom apartments with large open communal lounges, dining rooms, activity rooms and even a wonderful Wellness Center.  Sarah's house is the passion of Stan Petersen who is a part of our wonderful Navel Jelly Studios Family.  Many of us had the honor of hearing first hand about the plans for Sarah's House, last summer at Art in the Rough and we all agreed this was something too special, not to support.  We hope you do too.  Read more....

 THE FLAMINGO FUND

This fund has been set up to enable artists to give back to fellow artists in time of need or just to say "hey, I want someone to experience what I have just experienced" ...

DONATE HERE

In 2011 we have supported the relief efforts in Japan. In a small way we wanted to acknowledge the horrific tragedy that occured on March 11, 2011. We offered a spot in our retreat to anyone who donated directly to World Vision or other reputable charities.

In 2010 we supported the Little Baby Face Foundation
.
The Little Baby Face Foundation (LBFF) transforms the lives of children born with facial deformities through corrective surgery. World-class surgeons and medical prov
iders at the finest facilities in NYC volunteer their time to provide the best corrective surgery and medical care to children and their families who are in financial need worldwide.

Thank you to our donating artists....
